Museum ship the Buffel is a unique piece of maritime cultural heritage. After serving as a ram tower ship for the Dutch Navy, the ship, built in 1868, was converted and put into use as a lodging and training ship for naval personnel in Hellevoetsluis after 28 years.\u00a0 The unique maritime value is reflected in the imaginative decoration of the ship. With its characteristic furnishings and special collection of recognizable nautical objects, it is not difficult to imagine yourself back in the naval days of Hellevoetsluis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
